surprising carbs to avoid

So many articles and studies have come out informing us to avoid white bread!  It’s an unhealthy carb stripped of its nutrition (leaving the white, yummy goodness.) Apparently there are other types of carbs that are actually worse than the white bread carb. It’s easy to associate carbs with bread but they pop up in some surprising places. Fancy coffee drinks, smoothies, heavy fruit juice, bagels, cheese crackers, movie theater popcorn and even yogurt covered raisins contain some of the highest amounts of carbohydrates. It’s hard to know where to draw the line when avoiding carbs. Thats why it’s important to know where to avoid them most, and eventually begin to recognize where they could appear.
